Guests have full use of the private and secure gardens here at Orchard House. From the dining room, two wide and easy access patio doors open out on to a stone barbecue patio with chairs and loungers. The barbecue is provided with at least 2 family size barbecue trays for your use. There are barbecue tools and cleaner for your use as well.

To the other side the doors open to a patio deck complete with table. chairs and patio umbrella. With complete privacy this is an ideal space to entertain or enjoy long evenings in the sun. There is a lwned area by the deck and a larger lawned area running the full lengh of the house to the side and front. Please be aware the front garden is not fully enclose

      The Balconies 

The house has two external and one internal balconies. These are lovely areas to escape to at different fimes of the day and the front lower balcony can also be used by smokers as can the garden. Although the balconies are without doubt nice places to be they are sued entirely at the guests own risk. Where children are in the house they must be supervised at all times on all balconies.

Accessability 

There are a number of steps on the pedestrian path way into the house, seven from the drive to path level 1 ad 3 further steps to the front door level. They are not the steepest or highest steps and ther are handrails to the side of each set. The bedrooms in the house are all on the second level and only accessiable by stairs, therefore the house is not suitable for wheelchair users. Elsewhere there are wide doorways, level floors and easy access as well as subtitles on the TV's and a reader for guests with low vision.
